Inspiration can be found in many places, and Maricay enjoys finding it in something as simple as light glancing off a puddle to the deep complexities of movie visuals. Following her love of storytelling through art and world creation led her to pursue a degree in Visual Development through the Academy of Art University. Specializing in Environment & Prop Designs in a realistic style, she enjoys pouring life and character into every prop and every scene.ns
Throughout her career, she has been reached out to by a local newspaper for an article on her art, commissioned to create portraits and illustrations by several individuals, and vendored her art at local craft shows and markets.
